“A new chapter starts here…”
Opening July 2026 — 38 Newgate Street, Morpeth · from The Book Gadgie, Tynemouth Market

Something wonderful is coming to Morpeth

A warm new place for book lovers, coffee sippers and story seekers.

Six years of Sunday stalls taught us the only rule worth keeping: carefully curated books, excellent condition, fair prices. The shop adds what the stall never could — a decent cup of coffee and a chair to read in.
